About Me

My relationship with the guitar began when I was a kid, and more than 30 years later I’m still in love with the instrument. For over 15 years I’ve been teaching students from all over the world, sharing not just techniques but the spirit and stories behind the music.

My Journey

I’ve been fortunate to study under some of the greatest maestros of our time, including Rafael Riqueni, Manolo Sanlúcar, Diego del Morao and Antonio Rey, among others. Each of them has inspired my playing and teaching. My passion for flamenco has taken me from local peñas in Spain.

My Philosophy

Flamenco is more than a set of techniques; it’s a way of life. I believe in helping students live the flamenco experience, not just learn scales. That’s why I combine solid technical foundations with the emotional nuances that make flamenco unique. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned guitarist, my goal is to make you feel the compás and express yourself freely.

Fun Facts

• I’m a huge fan of Cádiz and Huelva’s cuisine—if you ever meet me in person, I’ll insist you try the local jamón.

• Along the way, I’ve also learned a bit of English—by translating Beatles lyrics!—so if you hear a Liverpool twang in my Spanish accent, now you know why.

• When I’m not playing guitar, I love watching thrillers and listening to classic rock.

• Humor is essential in my classes; flamenco is serious business, but we always find time to laugh and enjoy the process.
